Compare

Mobile patrol vs static guard

Static guarding dedicates one guard's full shift to a single post and gives you continuous control of people and access. Mobile patrol spreads guard, vehicle, and reporting time across several stops on a route, giving you documented checks and deterrence at lower cost. Most portfolios layer both.

Guidance only — the right model depends on how much continuous control each site needs; most Ontario portfolios layer static where risk is constant and patrol where it is intermittent.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does mobile patrol cost compared to a static guard?

Mobile patrol is typically a fraction of the cost of a full-time static guard because one marked vehicle covers multiple sites with scheduled and randomized checks, rather than paying for one guard to stand in a single spot all shift. The structural difference is what drives the price: a static post dedicates an entire shift to one location, while a patrol route spreads guard time, vehicle time, and reporting across several stops. Your quote depends on the number of visits, the number and spacing of sites, and route length — tighter site clusters route more efficiently. Patrol is not always cheaper in the abstract; for a single high-control site that needs continuous presence, a static guard is the right model. For a portfolio of lower-risk Ontario properties, patrol puts documented eyes on each one multiple times a night at far lower cost. Request a quote and we return an all-in rate within one business day.

Are your security guards licensed in Ontario?

Yes — every Warriorz security guard holds a valid Ontario Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA) licence, verified before placement and re-checked at renewal. To hold that licence, an Ontario guard must complete the Ministry-mandated basic training program (a minimum of 40 hours, including Emergency First Aid and CPR) and pass the provincial security guard test. Beyond the legal minimum, our guards complete internal certification in de-escalation, emergency response, and Use of Force reporting, and are dispatched and supervised 24/7. Warriorz is fully insured and bonded as an Ontario security company. The practical benefit for you: every guard on your site can produce proof of a current PSISA licence on request, so you can demonstrate compliance to your own board, insurer, or auditor without taking it on trust.

How do I know patrols actually happened?

Every Warriorz mobile patrol is GPS-verified with timestamped check-ins, and you receive a detailed digital patrol report after each visit documenting findings, lock-ups, unlocks, and any incidents. This matters because a patrol you cannot prove is a patrol you cannot defend — to an insurer, a board, or a tenant. Modern patrol is documented, not assumed: instead of a vague promise that "someone drove by," you get a defensible per-visit record showing the time on site and what was checked. Randomized arrival windows are deliberate, too — a predictable 2 a.m. drive-by is easy to time around, whereas variable timing keeps would-be intruders from knowing when the property is watched. The marked vehicle and a uniformed, PSISA-licensed guard also provide a visible deterrent between visits, which is often the point of patrol in the first place.

Which areas of Ontario do you cover?

Warriorz provides security across Ontario — including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Ottawa, London, Kitchener, and Cambridge — coordinated from regional hubs in the GTA, the Tri-Cities, Eastern Ontario, the Southwest, and the North. Because we are a service-area business rather than a single storefront, coverage is organised around where guards are deployed, not a fixed address, which lets us staff multi-site portfolios that cross municipal boundaries. Every deployment is backed by a 24/7 operations centre with GPS-verified patrols and real-time reporting, so a guard in a remote northern site is supervised the same way as one in downtown Toronto. If your property is in the province, we can usually staff it; tell dispatch your specific location and we will confirm coverage and lead time for that area.
